On 7th March 2014, Leo Club of
SMK Sungai Tapang organized a 3R project-Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Our
organizing chairperson, Leo Lai Xin Joo asked all the Leo members to bring
newspapers, plastics bottles, cans and others. The collection was started for a
week. The things were then sent to sell and all the money got was used to buy
some necessary goods for SSPCA. Our club also took out the club’s money
together to help SSPCA. All the Leo members that participated in this project
were really co-operative with our organizing chairperson.
Lastly, we appreciated the efforts for members and non-members to bring
such a large number of newspapers, bottles and also cans. We hoped more activities
like this can be held to promote the importance of taking care environment.
